Environmental
commitments
To help protect the planet, we have set a series of environmental commitments that guide us in working toward a healthier, more prosperous future.
Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
We are strongly committed to working toward our validated SBTi targets.
-
By 2028:
- 90% of our vendors and suppliers by spend covering purchased goods and services will have science-based targets.
- 58% of our customers by revenue covering use of sold products will have science-based targets.
-
By 2030:
- Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42%.1,2
*Goal accomplished in FY2024
-
By 2045:
- Reach net-zero GHG emissions across the value chain.2
-
Additional goals
In addition to our validated SBTi targets, we are working to achieve the following goals:
- Embed circular economy principles in our product lifecycle management strategy and partner with stakeholders to minimize waste through repairs, refurbishment and recycling.
- Further deploy environmental management systems such as the ISO 14001.3
Leading from the center
Positioned at the center of the technology value chain, we have a unique vantage point into how technology is built, delivered and used, and a unique responsibility to help ensure it advances in ways that are sustainable, inclusive and resilient. That perspective enables us to identify where meaningful change is needed — and where collaboration can accelerate progress.
Increasing access to sustainable options
Our Commercial Sustainability strategy focuses on creating core
business value while strengthening collaboration across
our teams, vendors and partner ecosystem.
The Commercial Sustainability Working Group, bringing representatives from sales, marketing, services, quality management and other commercial functions together, helped lead this partnership and other Commercial Sustainability initiatives. Throughout FY2025, the Working Group identified opportunities to better embed sustainability into product positioning and customer engagement. These co-workers also supported their peers in sharing best practices, skills and insights to help them incorporate sustainability into their day-to-day work.
Providing industry insight and leadership
To better understand and guide our partners, TD SYNNEX surveys tech business leaders annually to produce the Direction of Technology (DoT) report — the only report of its kind in the industry.
Partners increasingly see sustainability as a source of competitive advantage, while also recognizing that progress depends on strong cybersecurity foundations and access to skilled talent. Key insights from the 2025 DoT report include:
- Cybersecurity is foundational, with 80% of partners offering at least one cybersecurity solution, emphasizing the need for resilient infrastructure as digital risk continues to grow.
- Nearly 70% of leaders are experiencing persistent talent shortages, particularly for advanced and emerging technologies, highlighting the need for training, enablement and specialization.
Advancing a circular IT economy and reducing e-waste
We strive to minimize raw materials use and solid waste throughout the product and packaging lifecycles, including resource efficiency, responsible waste and e-waste management, as well as re-use and circularity practices across the value chain.
In FY2025, we continued to evolve our circular economy strategy and waste management practices, including through three of our businesses that collect used equipment and provide a second life through repair, remanufacture, recycling and re-use. Operating with excellence
Our commitment to operational leadership is enforced through globally recognized management system standards. These systems help us drive efficiency, maintain high performance, mitigate operational risk and demonstrate our commitment to delivering quality at scale and with purpose.
As of FY2025, 60 facilities representing approximately 68% of our total global footprint have achieved ISO 9001 certification, the world’s most widely adopted quality management standard.4 We continue to advance additional certifications, including ISO 14001 and 45001, to further strengthen process integrity, consistency and continuous improvement across our operations.
Aligning with global progress
TD SYNNEX aligns with global standards such as SASB, TCFD, UNGC and the UN SDGs to ensure our progress is measured with clarity and guided by internationally recognized principles. This approach helps us translate responsibility into consistent, meaningful action across the ecosystems and communities we serve.
In FY2025, TD SYNNEX joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) — an initiative to align business operations and strategies with Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. Along with over 20,000 companies around the world, and over 300 in technology alone, we’re committed to integrating these Ten Principles into our ways of working. The Ten Principles support the UN’s SDGs.
